My name is Jannette Lumley, CEO and Founder of Its Ur Turn TV & Radio. Its Ur Turn was established in October 2012 as a community networking alliance comprises of Black entrepreneurs seeking business exposure. Its main focus was promotion, networking and showcasing of small business products and services.
Fast forwarding almost 8 hears later I have connected with many people and places around the globe by networking.
I am very community oriented in terms of volunteering. I've been on several boards like the Marcus Garvey Association with Terry Brown in the 90s. As well as being a Director of Caribana (CAG) as a Treasurer. Recently I was appointed a Director of the Adopt A Youth Foundation in Jamaica.
In 2017 I was given the opportunity to Co-host on a talk show entitle Ordinary People Can Do Extraordinary Things with Host Jacqueline Dixon on GBKM FM located in North York, Ontario, Canada.
May 2018 I debuted the Reggaelution On The Move Talk Show on Soul Kitchen Radio located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
Summer of 2019 I was referred to Eglinton TV by Boxer Joe and was able to continue to broadcast the Reggaelution On The Move Talk Show to date.
Just before the pandemic hits I was awarded a Media Award from the International Women Achievers Award (IWAA).
Its Ur Turn continues to promote, network and showcase on its online platform with an online presence....Its Ur Turn TV Radio.... starting Fall of 2020. Its Ur Turn TV Radio is collaborating with other media outlets for the sharing of valuable contents that will benefit communities.

"THE LEGACY BUILDING STATION"
Our weekly programs consisting of the following:.
This station was established to share valuable information to individuals lacking the necessary means needed to be heard in their community.
Opportunity only knocks once and when it does you must act, react and take the necessary actions ensuring it happens.
Years ago I visited Jamaica and a group of single mothers were engaged in a community BINGO that generates income for them to provide for their family (children). As a result they continue saying this Friday it would be "Your Turn." Every Friday it would be someone's turn to be compensated based on their contribution in the pool. At the event they would sell drinks and food to make money and also benefited from the large payout. To make a long story short they would collect over $200,000.00 Jamaican (converted to Canadian currency it calculates to an estimated $2,000.00 Canadian based on the exchange rate today) on a Friday night.
My dear grandmother who passed away May 2015 inspired me to continue on this "Purposeful Journey." She was very community oriented with the willingness to always give and share. This Station is honouring her memories.
Never give up on a dream or idea that you have. Whenever it is Your Turn it cannot be taken away from you and whatever that is meant for you will be rewarded unto you.
